The LiveViewGPS Hours Of Service (HOS) application is a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMSCA) certified, approved and registered phone/tablet-based application for the Electronic Logging Device (ELD) Rule.
Powerful and easy to use, designed for fleets of all sizes, compliant with US Department of Transportation regulations for keeping track of driver driving time, sleeping and awake but-not-driving times as well as electronic forms and vehicle inspections. The application is compliant with US Federal, State and Canadian driving rules, as well as exemptions such as for oil fields are supported.
This app works in conjunction with the LiveViewGPS fully-featured Hours of Service hosted portal that provides the ability to monitor the drivers in the fleet, examine and edit logs as necessary, set up custom inspection categories, view reports, and administer drivers (such as adding or deleting drivers). The portal and tablet stay in synchronization to provide back-office employees a near real-time view of their fleet.

Currently our solution works with all Android Tablets/Phones running version 4.4.2 or later. Your device needs internet connectivity, and on average our application will transfer about 900 mb of data per month back to our servers. We expect an Iphone release Q1 2017.
You purchase the ELD (part # ELD OBDLE) device here. The device plugs into your truck's J1939 port and will communicate via Bluetooth LE with the LiveView HOS app that you've downloaded on your device. The application polls our ELD device via bluetooth every 3 seconds, retrieving pertinent vehicle information.
Once service is activated, you will be assigned a secure account for you to access. You add drivers, and equipment to your account. Driver’s will then be able to log into the LiveViewGPS HOS application on their devices and begin using the service. Once a driver has logged into the application, they simply sync the ELD device with the application and begin using the service.
Low Start-Up Costs:
With our solution, your costs will include the actual ELD device, and the monthly service cost of $19.95 per device. You would be responsible for getting the tablet/phone.
